- We announce a recently published volume, Household Counts: Canadian Households and Families in 1901 edited by Eric Sager and Peter Baskerville, University of Toronto Press, Toronto Buffalo London, 2007 based on the Canadian Families Project's public use sample of the 1901 census.

- The 7es Journées scientifiques of the Réseau Démographie of the Agence universitaire de la francophonie(AUF) -Université Laval, June 19-22.

- The Conference Health in Families, Healthy Families: Gendered Explorations Toronto, May 8-11.
