| Dr. CARL AMRHEIN CCRI Co-Leader: Ontario Provost and Vice President (Academic) Formerly Professor of Geography and Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at the University of Toronto and currently Provost and Vice President (Academic) at the University of Alberta, Dr. Carl Amrhein is one of a handful of scholars who has pioneered high-resolution (micro-simulation) modelling of populations. In recent years, he has lead a comparative study of Toronto and Quebec City in collaboration with CIEQ. He is currently pursuing statistical solutions to data aggregation problems in large, spatial datasets, and is analysing data quality issues in GIS utilizing integrated databases. The Department of Geography at the University of Toronto is hosting a CCRI center for GIS Analysis.
