| Dr. EVELYN RUPPERT CCRI Co-Leader: Ontario Centre for Research on Socio-Cultural Change, The Open University (UK) After completing her doctorate in 2002 (Sociology, York University), Dr. Ruppert served as Project Coordinator for the CCRI York University Centre. She was a key participant in the establishment of the CCRI Centre at York and the development and implementation of strategies and practices for the collection and processing of qualitative contextual data on the making and taking of the census. In 2004, with her appointment to the position of Assistant Professor at Trent University, she became CCRI Co-Team Leader. She recently relocated to the United Kingdom and is currently a Research Fellow at the ESRC Centre for Research on Socio-Cultural Change (CRESC), The Open University. Through her involvement with the CCRI and CRESC, Dr. Ruppert is undertaking research on managing and governing populations
